No More Excuses

No More Excuses

It’s easy to come up with an excuse as to why we can’t…
… accomplish a dream
… be happy
… overcome a problem

Excuses are a dime a dozen.  They give you permission to settle where you are, they justify us to settle for less than our best.

And the truth.. It can be a valid excuse.  Lets say someone did you wrong in a business deal, and now its changed the way you do business.  You tell yourself you will not do “x” again.  Thats only hurting you.  You have to draw a line in the sand and say “I refuse to live my life with a chip on my shoulder, angry, upset with no passion”.

Quit comparing yourself and start running your own race.

What excuses are holding you back?  Are you stuck doing something the old fashioned way?  Say open to new ideas, get rid of the limited thinking.  Don’t be intimidated by something new.

Get rid of the inferiority crutch.  Get rid of the self-pity crutch.  When you get a disadvantage, don’t get stuck looking for someone or something to blame.  Remember what others say only has as much power as you give it.  Let it go.  If you think about what is wrong, that will become a crutch that will hold you back.  Shake off the disappointment, keep doing the right things.

No bad break can stop you.  Only you can stop you.
You may have had a rough start, but you don’t have to have a rough finish.

It isn’t easy to just “get over it”… but do know, the pain of letting it go is less than the pain of holding on and missing out on your future.

Ask yourself… “Are you serious.. “  Are you serious about starting your business, having a successful future… losing weight….being happy…    Then get rid of the excuses.  Get rid of the crutches.  Shake off the negative.  Quit feeling sorry for yourself.  Make something happen today.

How many excuses are you telling yourself today? What do you use as a crutch that makes you settle to where you are?

No more excuses.
